TB Raab Holding and BirdMind Kft.: Sharing knowlegde and expanding to Hungary
For 25 years, TB Raab has been active in nature and species conservation in Hungary – and since 2023, we also have our own office in Hegyeshalom.
A particular focus of our work is the conservation of threatened bird species such as the Great Bustard and their habitats. Within international conservation projects such as LIFE EUROBUSTARD and LIFE EUROKITE, we work together with numerous partners to improve our knowledge of species such as the Red Kite, Eastern Imperial Eagle, Little Bustard and Great Bustard, and to implement concrete conservation measures.
In doing so, we combine traditional conservation work with modern technologies such as telemetry (access to 1 billion data records from more than 4,800 tagged birds) and video monitoring.
Our goal always remains the same: sound species conservation based on high-quality data – and solutions that enable nature conservation and the energy transition to succeed together.
