Soňa Svetlíková is a scientist at the Comenius university in Bratislava (since 2018), with extensive experiences in the survey of avian assemblages, their ecology and behaviour. She has been engaged in numerous bird monitoring schemes (Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia), collecting data especially about small forest passerines and woodpeckers. She is a member of IUCN SSC Grasshopper Specialist Group, Slovak Ornithological Society BirdLife Slovakia and since 2021 also a cooperation partner of the TB Raab.
