About
Mabel Narh is a young lady who is very passionate about nature. Growing up, she always got scared whenever she heard the saying, “When the last tree dies, the last man dies.” This caught her attention so much that she pursued biological sciences where she majored in Conservation Biology and Entomolgy for her Bachelor’s studies. Seeking answers to her questions about how people prioritize biodiversity and her zeal to protect biodiversity, she worked on an honors research project on the “Ecological assessment of road impacts on herpetofauna in the Central Region of Ghana”. She further attended A.P. Leventis Ornithological Research Institute on a scholarship, where she had studied Conservation Biology. She gained in-depth knowledge and skills with bird identification and ringing and data collection, as well as identification of butterfly species. She finally gained a scholarship to study in Hungary for a Masters in Wildlife Management Engineering where she did her research thesis on “The Presence of the Eurasian Woodcock in Hungary between 2009 and 2024.” She joined the TB Raab team in 2025, November.
