Ecological construction supervision report – Flood protection at the Schleinzbach in the cadastral community of Limberg – Restoration measures and reforestation

Client: Hengl Mineral GmbH

Project Duration: 2024

Project Description:
For the implementation of flood protection measures on the Limberg quarry site, TB Raab GmbH was commissioned to carry out ecological construction supervision. Responsibilities included overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with official permits. The ecological construction supervision team was involved in the planning process from the very beginning of the construction phase.

The project included the construction of a retention basin, along with additional hydraulic engineering measures such as an overflow weir and channel realignment, all within the Limberg quarry area owned by Hengl Mineral GmbH.

Ecological restoration measures and reforestation activities were successfully implemented as part of the project.
